The movie was heavily reworked prior to release by the distributor, Intercontinental Releasing Corporation. As they prepped for the reshoot, Tiffany Bolling was talked into taking a role by her husband, Richard Casares, who was the company's senior VP. In a 1991 interview she said her husband told her, "We gotta reshoot some of these scenes, they're awful, and we need to redo this movie, so will you be in it?" And she replied, "Well, can I say no?"
