Rotten TomatoesRab Ne Bana Di Jodi' is a beautiful movie with a simple storyline and perfect love story. It's full of romance, drama, and comedy. Shahrukh Khan performed brilliantly the character of Suri as well as Raj. Anushka Sharma's performance was as great as Shahrukh's, she looked phenomenal playing the character of Tani despite this being her debut movie. The chemistry between these two was stunning, it didn't seem like it was their first movie together. No doubt, why he's known as the king of romance. This movie depicts love in a very pure way which is nowadays very difficult to find in bollywood movies. Indian cinema definitely needs more such kinds of movies. This movie has some of the best songs in Bollywood like Tujhme Rab Dikhta Hai, Haule Haule, Dance Pe Chance. The wonderful thought behind making the movie was to convey the message- "to see God in another person and love them selflessly like you love God." Definitely a must watch and worth the praise.Â

The phrase "Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke, Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte," repeated many times in the movie, is actually a combination of three Bollywood movies that starred the three big Khans: Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) with Aamir Khan, Phir Milenge (2004) with Salman Khan, and Chalte Chalte (2003) with Shah Rukh Khan, who was the lead in this movie.
The song "Haule Haule" was shot in three takes. Shah Rukh Khan improvised most of his dance moves throughout the shoot. He later said that while he felt uncomfortable wearing the wig and moustache, it was one of the most relaxing songs he had ever shot.
The film has no songs performed by Abhijeet and Udit Narayan, two of Shah Rukh Khan's favorite playback singers. Instead, the male singers are Sonu Nigam, Roop Kumar Rathod, Sukhwinder Singh, and Labh Janjua.
The song "Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte" pays tribute to the legendary Bollywood actors Raj Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor, Dev Anand, and Rajesh Khanna. Each stanza of the song contains lyrics that represent the titles of songs filmed with those aforementioned actors.
The dancing jodi motif seen throughout the film is the famous Raj Kapoor logo, which was designed after a scene between Raj Kapoor and Nargis in the film Barsaat (1949).
"Taani: Do not ever try to flirt with me! Surinder Sahni: But where am I flirting? Flirting would be if l were to tell you that I have never seen a girl more beautiful than you and when you dance all sweaty with the way your hair swings left and right, my heart skips a beat. But I didn't say anything like that. No flirting."
"Surinder Sahni: Yesterday, I saw her for the first time, and as I saw her, I immediately fell in love."
