Payback: Money and Power is an exciting, acute, somewhat complex yet clever law drama about the fight against powerful unlawful players that cannot be successfully confronted by the law. The theme of power and money being inseparable and complementary is distinctly highlighted in the series and many other such relevant themes and issues are raised and given importance. Initially, the plot may not be as appealing and promising but as the show goes on, it gets more captivating and gripping. Every episode has a powerful ending that leaves you wanting more. The battle of morals is beautifully portrayed and the choice of caste is also excellent. The actors have done a fine job and the script is well-written. The development of the plot is cunning indeed and it is nice to see a fresh law drama. The series is entertaining and shows realistic issues and throws light on corruption in the system.
