Kaki Hunter's final theatrical appearance before quitting the movie industry.
Bob Clark was invited to write and direct a third Porky's film. He was interested, but also busy directing Rhinestone (1984) and said that he would have to think about a good storyline for the film. The producers didn't want to wait for him to do this however, and hired Ziggy Steinberg to write a screenplay for the film. Clark hated the screenplay and was furious that the producer had it written behind his back, and as a result, he refused to have anything to do with the film.
The smallest grossing Porky's film, bringing in only $20 million, against a budget of nearly $8 million.
At the time of his premature death, Bob Clark was actively considering either another sequel to Porky's (1981) or a remake.
The picture was nominated for Worst Picture at the Hastings Bad Cinema Society's 8th Stinkers Bad Movie Awards in 1985.
"Porky Wallace: You're gonna have to forgive my temper, Meat. But I'm glad to see my son-in-law's a moxie guy, 'cause that's just what I want for my grandson. Meat Tuperello: What grandson? Porky Wallace: The one from you and Blossom, asshole. What do you think you're doing here? Meat Tuperello: Beats the shit out of me. Porky Wallace: I hope we don't have to do that. Nah, that's not important. All I want now is a little grand-child. A little Porky. Someone I can put on my knee, teach them to go fishing, gamble, break heads, kick ass. Someone I can be proud of. Carry on the family name."
"[at graduation] Pee Wee Morris: Inga? Do you still have your dress on? Inga: It's American custom, you know. Tommy, Meat, Billy, Brian and Wendy (together): Ja! Ja! Ja! Inga: I love America. [she unzips her gown and shows pee wee her breasts] Inga: Ja, ja, ja."
