TRIVIA

Trivia

A real pork bone was used for the top of a severed hand in the film. It was cleaned, bleached, microwaved, boiled in water and still smelled bad after 2 days of use.

Almost every member of the production team have cameos in the film.

Filming was delayed for two weeks due to the eruption of the volcano Eyjafjallajokul. The resulting ash cloud disrupted trans-Atlantic flights, leaving director Bing Bailey and cinematographer Clayton H. Haskell unable to secure a flight from America to Ireland.

A copy of Maxx Brooks' book 'The Zombie Survival Guide' was kept on set at all times, both for novelty purposes and "Just in case"
