Psych is a comedy-drama television series that premiered in 2006 and ran for eight seasons. Created by Steve Franks, the show follows the adventures of Shawn Spencer (James Roday Rodriguez), a young man who poses as a psychic to assist the Santa Barbara Police Department in solving crimes. Along with his best friend Gus (Dulé Hill), Shawn uses his keen observation skills and sense of humor to solve cases that often leave the police stumped. Carlton Lassiter: Need I remind you, Mr. Spencer, what happens when you interfere with a police investigation? Shawn Spencer: Uhhh... The case gets solved?"
