IMDbSeinfeld is a fantastic Sit-com. Every episode is noteworthy and full of hilarious jokes, many of which are actually relevant, even today. Some famous ones include “These pretzels are making me thirsty†or “Do you have a square spare?†Whether it's a trip to the Hamptons, trying to create a pizza shop where you make your own pie, or being trapped in a limo with Nazis waving weapons at you, Seinfeld can make any circumstance humorous and relevant, which is one of its main selling points. Of course, the show's biggest draw is its cast of characters. Jerry Seinfeld, the cynical germophobe, George Costanza, the neurotic, small, stocky, slow-witted, bald man with spectacles, Elaine Benes, the crazy next-door neighbor Cosmo Kramer, and Newman who is the most repulsive mailman you will ever meet. The supporting characters are also very charming and the show is an absolute delight to watch for so many reasons.

Larry David famously instituted a policy of "no hugging, no learning," meaning that the show must avoid sentimentality and moral lessons, and the characters must never learn or grow from their wrongdoings.
As Kramer (Michael Richards) became more popular, his entrance applause grew so prolonged that the cast complained it was ruining the pacing of their scenes. Directors subsequently asked the audience not to applaud so much when Kramer entered.
Jerry Seinfeld turned down an offer from NBC that would have made him $110 million for a tenth season of the show.
A running gag in the show is that Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) can't act. This was actually a real concern for the show's producers. To weigh up for this, they needed strong supporting actors and actresses, hence Jason Alexander, who previously had been on Broadway.
Larry David was quite volatile in meetings with NBC executives, and would often outright refuse to accept their notes and suggestions. He was eventually banned from attending the meetings.
"Telemarketer: Hi, would you be interested in switching over to TMI long distance service? Jerry: Oh, gee, I can't talk right now. Why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you later? Telemarketer: Uh, well I'm sorry, we're not allowed to do that. Jerry: Oh, I guess you don't want people calling you at home. Telemarketer: No. Jerry: Well, now you know how I feel. [Jerry hangs up phone]"
"Cosmo Kramer: You're wasting your life. George Costanza: I am not. What you call wasting, I call living. I'm living my life. Cosmo Kramer: OK, like what? No, tell me. Do you have a job? George Costanza: No. Cosmo Kramer: You got money? George Costanza: No. Cosmo Kramer: Do you have a woman? George Costanza: No. Cosmo Kramer: Do you have any prospects? George Costanza: No. Cosmo Kramer: You got anything on the horizon? George Costanza: Uh, no. Cosmo Kramer: Do you have any action at all? George Costanza: No. Cosmo Kramer: Do you have any conceivable reason for even getting up in the morning? George Costanza: I like to get the Daily News."
