This is the official remake of the Tamil movie Naadodigal(2009).
The film did not have a theatrical release in British Columbia, Canada.
Tamil composer Sundar.C. Babu (credited as C.S. Babu in the album), who composed the songs and background score in the original (Nadodigal), made his composing debut in Hindi with 2 songs ("Yaaron Aisa Hai" & "Shiv Shambho") & reused the same background score for the remake. Interesting enough, Babu's version of 'Shiv Shambho" (sung by Shankar Mahadevan, who sang the tamil original) was redone by additional composer-duo Sajid-Wajid sung by Sukhwinder Singh and Wajid himself.
