"[character Kristen arrives to greet teacher Mr. Harris and the bus of students outside of the Miller's barn] Kristen: Hey. Aaron: Hi. Kristen: So, did you find it okay? Aaron: Yeah... how could I not? Kristen: Good. Aaron: Wow, you, uh... you look... Kristen: What, broke? Aaron: No, I was going to say, great. You look great. Kristen: Thanks. Look at you, you're like, mister big-time teacher now. [chuckles] Aaron: Trying to be anyway. [chuckles]"
"[Mr. Harris tells the students on the bus why the legend of the Scarecrow is just a story and why they are their to collect the Scarecrow from the farm] Nicki: [the students all look out towards the eerie abandoned farm and Scarecrow out in the empty field] Where the hell are we? Aaron: All right, let's go, guys. Tyler: [Tyler begins to quote the story of the Scarecrow] It never sleeps, it never dies. It can't be stopped, hear their cries. Nicki: [Nicki continues the quote] The Scarecrow lives to kill us all. Tyler: [Tyler ends the quote] Keep it buried in the fall. [then slams his hand on the bus window next to Beth] Beth: That isn't funny, all right. Nicki: [Nicki chuckles] It is funny. Beth: What the hell are they talking about? Aaron: Legend has it this place is haunted. Daevon: They say over 30 people were killed in there. Bodies eaten by the Scarecrow. [takes a bite of his apple] Beth: Well we're not staying here, right? Aaron: Beth, they're just trying to scare you. None of this actually happen. Maria: Can I ask, why we're here then? Nicki: Yeah, is this supposed to be like Scared Straight or something? Aaron: Not quite. This is the site of the original Scarecrow festival, but the farm is being sold, so we're going to dismantle what's left of the Scarecrow and reassemble in town where the festival is happening this year. Nicki: Seriously? Aaron: Yeah, seriously."
