Vanna Pira is based on Vanna White of Wheel of Fortune (1983) and Maila Nurmi of Vampira (1956).
Dracula spends the movie pronouncing Shaggy's name as "Sha-Gee". Years later, Star Wars: Clone Wars: Chapter 20 (2004) introduced a character modeled after Shaggy named Sha'a Gi, whose name is pronounced the same as how Drac did it.
Daphne, Velma, and Fred don't appear in this movie.
