TRIVIA

Trivia

This was the last Scooby-Doo cartoon to feature Don Messick as the voice of Scooby. Messick died in 1997 due to a stroke.

This was the very last Scooby-Doo movie production to be produced by its original creator, Hanna-Barbera Cartoons. Afterward, all future Scooby-Doo movie productions would later be produced by Warner Bros. Animation, starting with Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998).

Final TV performance of Allan Melvin (Magilla Gorilla). He lived for another 14 years, but did not have any credited acting jobs.

This was also the last movie to feature Yogi Bear (although since his final appearances was Yo Yogi! (1991) and Yogi the Easter Bear (1994) were the last two ones to be created and produced by Hanna-Barbera three years prior) and Magilla Gorilla. However, Yogi would also appear in two shorts: Boo Boo Runs Wild (1999) and A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith (1999), which was produced by Spumco and Cartoon Network. He would not appear again until Jellystone (2021).

The first Scooby-Doo movie not to feature Scrappy Doo.
