Graham McTavish who voiced the role of "Deglan" also plays the live-action role of "Dijkstra" in The Witcher Season 2.
Approximately 90% of the cast have also voiced main characters in other Netflix Original anime shows! Most notably, but not limited to: Castlevania, Trese, DOTA: Dragons Blood, Love Death Robots, High- Rise Invasion, Eden's Zero, Eden, Tiger & Bunny, Kill & the Wonder Beasts, Demon Slayer, and Illang: The Wolf Brigade! Many actors are in multiple shows, and every show has multiple of the same actors i.e. Theo James (Hector) & Graham MC Tavish (Dracula) both had major roles in Castlevania, as well as having done voices for some of the other shows as well!
This movie marks the return of Mary McDonnell to the movie screen, her last film was 10 years before (Margin Call).
"Better dead than fled" said by Deglan is a play on" Better Dead Than Red", which was a slogan in the USA from the 1950s referring to The Cold War.
