Seven is a Bengali drama series, which follows the journey of five middle-aged friends on their holiday to a hill station, as they encounter dead bodies and guns on the way. Featuring Ankita Chakraborty, Anjan Dutt, and Ridhima Ghosh in lead roles, the show is known for its mysterious storyline and plot twists. The show is one of the rare few Bengali-language series that delve into mystery and suspense with a plot that shows a group of friends going on an adventure. It has been appreciated for its beautiful cinematography that sets up the mood well. But the subpar acting performances by the cast members and below-average background score does not help enhance the scenes. At the end, the climax could have been scripted better, with more intensity. Overall, Seven is a great attempt at trying something bold in Bengali TV shows, but it leaves a lot to imagination.
