Parikshat Sahni starred in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's shelved film "The Man From India," Parikshat played Udham Singh, the revolutionary who shoots Col. Michael O'Dwyer, the man behind the Jalianwalla Bagh massacre, right inside the British Parliamen. The film co starred Balraj Sahni, It was shelved after the film went over budget. It was finally restarted as "Jallian Wala Bhaag" with Vinod Khanna . The scenes shot with Parikshat were retained and edited in to the new film.
