Rotten TomatoesUri: The Surgical Strike is a Hindi war movie that revolves around the true events of the 2016 Uri attack and the following surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army against the terrorists in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). The film follows Major Vihaan Singh Shergill and his team as they plan and execute the mission to avenge the death of their fellow soldiers. The movie is known for its acting performance by lead actor Vicky Kaushal as well as the inspiring theme. Adding to that, the action sequences in the film are well-thought out and the underlying theme of the movie is emotional enough to make all viewers sympathise with the characters on screen. Overall, Uri: The Surgical Strike might be slightly cliched but is a good patriotic movie that resonates with every Indian, and is a fitting tribute to the men and women in the Army.
