According to Deborah Dutch, the film was a huge hit on USA Network's Up All Night (1989) and ran several times. She even appeared on one episode in a lingerie slumber party with host Rhonda Sheer and some other girls when they played the movie.
The role of Mary Anne was specifically written for Deborah Dutch by writer/director John McBrearty after they met in an acting workshop.
Deborah Dutch said she and the other actresses were freezing on location on Mount Baldy. Filming was supposed to wrap in September, but it went into October. They were wearing skimpy shirts and tops, but they had to pretend it was a nice warm Summer day. Then it started to snow on their last day of shooting.
Director John McBrearty's only film.
"Skip: [seeing his ex-girlfriend Belinda in the hot tub with a new man] Look at this! Look at the bitch, man. Steve: What a jerk. Man, what a freaking jerk. Skip: Oh, yeah, she's gonna die, man. Steve: What a shit. Goddamn piece of shit."
