On Tuesday, 4 May 2021, Rose Matafeo revealed via Twitter that filming on the second series had commenced. Series two is expected to carry on the story from where the first series left off.
Series one was originally scheduled to begin filming in March 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Filming was rescheduled for October 2020 and the show's creator, writer and star Rose Matafeo was asked to write a second series during the delay.
Rose Matafeo and Emma Sidi, who play flatmates Jessie and Kate, are also best friends and housemates in real life.
On Monday, 13th June 2022, BBC Three announced that in conjunction with HBO Max it has commissioned Avalon Television to produce a 6-episode third series of the popular comedy. The first two series have been watched via BBC iPlayer over 8.2 million times and the programme has premiered in more than 90 countries worldwide.
