TRIVIA

Trivia

The mask that the killer wears in the film is of wrestler/B-actor/(Edward D. Wood Jr.-regular) Tor Johnson.

The reason for Lou Christie's 'Lightning Strikes' playing during the offbeat party scene was it was a favorite song of writer Bill Condon.

Director Michael Laughlin was an avid Coca Cola drinker, which is why the drink brand appears so often throughout the film.

The first horror film to be shot in New Zealand.

Though never mentioned aloud, the teenage partiers in the film are all dressed as various characters from 60's TV series. Most noticeably, Sarah is suppose to be dressed as The Flying Nun.
