Super Deluxe is a movie that consists of four interwoven stories and all stand out for its wonderful portrayal of dark comedy. All these four stories had something to teach and conveys different messages in the end which adds so much depth to this whole movie. Genre of this movie is a debatable topic because it has different elements: thrill, humor, art, drama, mystery, suspense, fantasy, adult scenes and even politics. Having so many elements in a single movie and balancing it out is a very tough job but the team of 'Super Deluxe' did it with flying colors. The cinematography, storylines, acting by all the cast members, editing, background score, and screenplay, all were superb. Indian Cinema needs more such kinds of movies. It's truly a work of art. Overall, it's a bang on movie. There's no reason why you shouldn't watch this movie. So, if you haven't watched it yet, watch it.Â

There are four writers who have written this movie. Thiagarajan kumararaja wrote the overall story, then divided it into 4 portions each with one or two Central characters and gave these 4 portions to the 4 writers-mysskin,nalan kumaraswamy,sekar and himself. The interesting aspect of this writing process is, not only do these 4 writers have completely different styles, they didn't know what the other writer has written (although they knew the overall story as it was a singular story with interconnected different stories). Then finally, he collected all the portions and gave it final touches to make it more consistent. This is a very unique writing process.
Aaranya Kandam's infamous "chittu" dialogue will be heard in one scene depicting Aaranya Kandam and Super Deluxe recides in same universe.
Three Cinematographers have worked, P.C. Sreeram, Nirav Shah and P.S. Vinod, but P.C sir's portions had to be reshot because of scheduling conflicts and actor changes. But the portions shot by Nirav and P.S are intact and are said to blend with each other seamlessly
Diamonds in the Jesus statue scenario is explained right next to the scene in the TV news report saying that ship along with that diamonds encounters a massive cyclone at the Indian ocean, the statue that helped Arputham to survive that tsunami.
Initially actress Nadhiya Moidu was approached for the pivotal role, but had opted out of the project due to creative differences and was replaced by actress Ramya Krishnan.
