'Vettaiyan' is scheduled to release on October 10, 2024, which was also the release date of the Suriya starter 'Kanguva' until its postponement a month prior. Interestingly, Rajinikanth also had a similarly-titled Bollywood film 'Ganguvaa' which released 40 years prior in 1984.
Rajni and Amitab join hands in this project after 33 years after their previous one "hum".
Initial preview trailer came with Prakash Raj voice for Amitab. Later they enhanced Prakash Raj voice with AI to match Amitab voice. The recent trailer and movie will have the AI (Artificial Intelligence) enhanced Prakash Raj (Amitab) voice. Same way, "Manasilayo" song has AI generated Late Malaysia Vasudevan voice, which was generated from his son voice Yugendhiran.
