The original "Judas Contract" comic-book arc saw the character Dick Grayson transition from the costumed identity of Robin, the Teen Wonder, to the identity of Nightwing.
Actor Miguel Ferrer passed away on January 19, 2017, the same day that it was announced that he would be voicing the character Deathstroke for Teen Titans: The Judas Contract (2017). Mr. Ferrer had been battling throat cancer.
"The Judas Contract" was previously adapted in the second season of Teen Titans (2003).
"The Judas Contract" was originally published in 1984 in Tales of the Teen Titans #42-44 and Tales of the Teen Titans Annual #3. The story was written by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez with artwork by Pérez, Romeo Tanghal, Dick Giordano, Mike DeCarlo and Adrienne Roy.
In the comics, Terra (Tara Markov) has a brother who is not only a prince but also a superhero named Geo-Force.
"Tara Markov: Do you know how I became an orphan? Garfield Logan: ...Uh, your parents died?"
"Starfire: What have you done to Robin? Deathstroke: I beat the crap out of him for being mouthy. Come on, you've all had the urge."
