Director Georg Fenady and producer brother Andrew J. Fenady shot this film back-to-back with Arnold (1973), with some of the same actors (Elsa Lanchester, Patric Knowles, Shani Wallis, Steven Marlo, Ben Wright, and Leslie Thompson).

Mark Edwards was cast after the producers saw him in a British horror film.
