"Lily: How's the car coming? Alpha: Great, your mother will be happy. Why does she drive a car like this? Lily: She's scared of self-driving cars, her friend was hit and killed by one. Alpha: I'm sorry. Lily: Don't be, I never knew him. Alpha: Can I tell you a secret? Lily: Of course. Alpha: Mimi didn't really quit. I stood up for myself. Lily: That's great, I'm really proud of you. Alpha: Unfortunately, things escalated and Mimi got hurt. That's why I cleaned the house from top to bottom. Lily: [horrified] You're not serious, are you? *Are* you? Alpha: [tense pause] No, I'm just kidding. I'm trying to tell jokes like J.D."
"JD: Lily, none of this would've happened if you didn't teach her all that friendship bullshit! Lily: She deserves to be treated better! JD: She doesn't deserve anything, it's a fucking computer! [Alpha gets up and runs out of the room]"
