One of a number of dramatic film dramatizations about or based on or inspired by the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks. The films are (in order of release): Mumbai Massacre (2009) (which has been edited into the episode Secrets of the Dead: Mumbai Massacre (2009) of the US television series "Secrets of the Dead"); the short film Embrace (2012); the Hindi film Shahid (2012); the Bollywood movie The Attacks of 26/11 (2013); the French feature film Taj Mahal (2015); One Less God (2017) (a.k.a. The Mumbai Siege: 4 Days Of Terror); and Hotel Mumbai (2018).

The India vs England 5th ODI at Cuttack (which India later won) was being shown on the TV sets inside the fishing yard and the Leopold café in the movie. The English team left the country immediately after the attacks, thus abandoning the 6th and the 7th ODI in the 7 match series.

The attacks at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in the movie are actually shot and shown at Mumbai Central Terminus.

Debut physical performance in a theatrical feature film of actor Sanjeev Jaiswal who portrayed Ajmal Qasab.
