Bounty Hunter | Ex-husband Ex-wife Relationship
Milo Boyd is a bounty hunter whose latest gig is rather satisfying, as he finds out that the bail-skipper he must chase down is his own ex-wife, Nicole -- but she has no intention of getting nabbed without a fight. Complicating matters, Nicole's wannabe-boyfriend, Stewart, joins the chase.

Ex-cop and former Fox TV news reporter Mike Sheehan appears as the desk sergeant in this film. Mr. Sheehan was arrested in March 2009 for hitting a mounted policeman with his car. This was the same charge that Nicole Hurley, Jennifer Aniston's character, was charged with.
When the Black S.U.V. that is following/chasing them flips/overturns, Milo and Nicole sift through the wreckage. She sarcastically calls him "Kojak". This is a sweet nod to Telly Savalas, who is Jennifer Aniston's godfather, having been her father's (John Aniston's) best friend.
Producer Neal H. Moritz and director Andy Tennant are neighbors. One day they were chatting to each other over their fence when Moritz asked Tennant if he was working on anything at that moment. Tennant replied that he wasn't doing anything at the time. That was when Moritz realized that his neighbor would be the perfect choice to direct this screenplay.
When Nicole (Jennifer Aniston) takes the shotgun out of a box in the police evidence room it is clearly marked "Gotti Jr.".
The English translation of this film's Hungarian release title is "Ex-Boyfriend Reloaded."
"[calling Milo from inside his car's trunk] Nicole Hurley: Milo, please, you have got to let me out of here. Milo Boyd: Hmm... nope! Nicole Hurley: All right, I shouldn't have run away, you just caught me off guard. And the truth is, I think I might need your advice on something. Milo Boyd: Well, that's a real shame. Because I wouldn't help you if you were the last baby sea turtle dragging your little, tiny body across the burning sand whilst hungry seagulls circled overhead. No, I'd just pull up a chair, sip a pina colada and watch nature take its course."
"[Nicole is calling Milo from inside his trunk] Milo Boyd: Nic... Nicole? Nicole Hurley: [crying] Please stop... Milo Boyd: Hey, remember how we used to be in love? Nicole Hurley: [still crying] Yeah. Milo Boyd: Well, that means I know when you're crying for real, and when you're faking it! Bye-bye! [laughs and hangs up] Nicole Hurley: Oh! God, Milo! [she pounds on the trunk with her fists] Milo Boyd: [laughing] Oh, God... so good."
