Rotten TomatoesThe Crowded Room is properly named, more over-elaborate than entertaining. This may be due to the way it frustrates the audience by prolonging the "mystery" or how the repercussions of the claimed surprise lose sight of Holland himself. When what is happening with Danny becomes crystal evident early on, but the tale seems to feel it is actually quite complicated, there is an unusual tension at the center of the series. While this review won't reveal what is going on with him, Rya's frequent interruptions during the questioning flag details with such glaring clarity that the show starts to lose its ability to pass for mysterious in its attempts. Based on both the initial tragedy and a potential conspiracy that may be related to it, the series first makes hints that it will be a psychological thriller. All in all, the series manages to keep the audience engaged and has them gripped till the very end.
