Director Joshua John Miller is son of Jason Miller, the actor who played Father Damien Karras in The Exorcist (1973).
Filmed between November and December 2019, still unreleased until May 31, 2024 (premiere in Spain). In USA, UK and other countries it was premiered mainly along June.
Second horror movie about an exorcism for Russell Crowe after The Pope's Exorcist (2023), although it was filmed before.
Its working title was "The Georgetown Project" (its title in France too), and in Spain it was titled "El Exorcismo de Georgetown". The events of The Exorcist (1973), the basis for this movie, happened in Georgetown, Washington DC.
