This post-war thriller is rarely shown and almost forgotten today. It was included on MGM's "Movies 4 You: Timeless Horror" four feature DVD release. The image has very poor image registration and was apparently mastered from an old 16mm television print. There is the possibility that there are no known 35mm prints in existence today.
This film's earliest documented telecasts took place in Cincinnati Friday 25 November 1949 on WKRC (Channel 11), in New York City Thursday 2 February 1950 on the DuMont Television Network's WABD (Channel 5), in Boston Sunday 4 June 1950 on WNAC (Channel 7), and in Los Angeles Thursday 6 July 1950 on KTLA (Channel 5).
Although it is inferred throughout this movie that Dr. Cochran is Dr. Randolph's younger assistant, Robert Shayne is actually 5 years 3 months older than John Carradine.
