TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

This film is a virtual rehash of The Devil Bat (1940), which had been one of Producers Releasing Corporation's (PRC) biggest successes.

In only 3 years and 4 days after its theatrical release, it was being shown on the new medium of television.

The outdoor footage of Quetzalcoatl flying to and from its lair was filmed at Bronson Canyon.

Shot in 1945, not released until 1946.

The earliest documented telecasts of this film took place in New York City Saturday 5 February 1949 on the Film Theater of the Air on WCBS (Channel 2) and in Los Angeles Saturday 2 April 1949 on KTTV (Channel 11).

Popular Dialogues

"Mary Forbes: Doctor Lambert, I wish there had never been any such thing as Aztec Indians! Father does nothing but think, dream and talk Aztecs!"
