TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

The opening Charlie Grimille hanging was a played by ear sequence with the rest of the cast and crew during its initial shots, Directors/writer Lofing pitched to Cluff and the actor Jesse Cross of not informing the rest of the cast and crew of the sudden prop malfunction they had scripted in, leading everybody to believe Cross had actually just hung to death, the genuine screams, horror and frantic rushing of the crowd encapsulated exactly what Lofing had envisioned for the beginning death sequence and maintained the very first few shots as the film's opening.

Most of the film's budget came from people who had never invested in a film before and were local friends of the film-makers in Central California.

Was independently funded and produced before being picked up and distrubuted by Warner Bros.

Most actors/actresses go by their real life names in this film. Most use their first name and a different last name for their characters. Ryan Shoos goes by his real first and last name for his character.

With Blumhouse and Entertainment 360 on board to co-produce and co-finance, the directors-who also served as editors as well as handling the visual effects-were able to finalize the film.

Popular Dialogues

"Reese Houser: Don't say his name!"

"Ryan Shoos: I don't get you drama nerds and your chagrin, it's like good luck is bad luck, breaking a leg is meant to be a good thing. Pfeifer Ross: Exactly."
