TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

John Mahoney played the father of Edward Burns in this film, but all of his scenes were cut. However, you can catch a glimpse of him on the left during the wedding footage as the camera follows Edward Burns and Brittany Murphy out of the church. The deleted scenes can be found on the DVD bonus features.

In the last bar scene with Ed Burns and Mathew Lillard, Burns is wearing a t-shirt saying "Up & Down Club" - which is the Jazz club his wife Christy Turlington owned with her sister Erin back in San Francisco. The club had a good run from 1994 till 1999.

Edward Burns and Donal Logue also starred in the movie Confidence (2003).

The song "Only The Lonely (1982)," by the Motels had not been in any media since being on a music talk show called "Iltatähti(1973)," which was in 1983. In the same year as this movie was made which was in 2006 it was in two other media's besides this film, which were the TV show "Cold Case (2003)," and the video game "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories (2006)."

In one bar scene Edward Burns tells Jay Mohr's to just be cordial to John Leguizamo's character TC, but Jay Mohr's doesn't understand what that word means, so Matthew Lillard who is known in his career for playing odd, dimwitted, slacker's like Cereal from "Hackers(1995)," Stuart from "Scream (1996)," and his best known character Shaggy from the "Scooby Doo(2002)" franchise, tells him it means be polite, then calls him a retard.
