After more than fifteen years, this became the last "Hammer" production to be shot at Bray Studios, copyright 1966, although they did return briefly to do special effects for "Moon Zero Two" and "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth."
Elizabeth Sellars only made two films for "Hammer." The first was "Cloudburst (1951)," their first film to be made at their then-new Bray Studios. The second was "The Mummy's Shroud (1967)" 15 years later, the last film to be made at Bray.
The design for the mummy's mask was taken directly from a real one on display at London's British Museum.
