TRIVIA

Trivia

First screened by the BFI at an event in their theatres, and then released on DVD sometime later as the result of a Kickstarter campaign and as a tool for television companies. It is unlikely to receive a wider release due to complicated rights issues attached to the multitude of excerpts shown.

"Native hue of resolution" is a line from Shakespeare's Hamlet. In the context of this film, it a reference to the restoration of colour to productions only kept in a black & white copy, by a clever process of computer recognition of the original shades, or hues.
