Only ten episodes of the show were released between April 28 to June 16. In the show, Oscar-winning producer Albert S. Ruddy revealed his struggles and experiences of making 'The Godfather' which is a cinematic masterpiece. The show starred Miles Teller, Matthew Goode, Dan Fogler, Colin Hanks, Burn Gorman, Giovanni Ribisi and Juno Temple. Everyone was good but Mathhew Goode's acting was on another level. He nailed the character by perfectly catching old times' accents and mannerisms.The cinematography by Salvatore Totino and Elie Smolkin was quite amazing. This movie was well appreciated by the audience as well as the critics, it also got nominated for various awards such as best limited series. Each and every episode of this mini tv series is entertaining enough to hold your attention throughout the series.

When Al Ruddy meets Francis Ford Coppola to discuss The Godfather project, George Lucas is clearly in the background with several other individuals.

In The Offer, when discussing poster art for The Godfather, one of the designs is in a "Flying V" formation, which is shot down as not preferred by consumers. The art for The Offer is in a "Flying V" formation. It does have elements of The Godfather in the font and the marionette strings, however.
The series reunites several of the cast members from HBO's Band of Brothers: Colin Hanks, Ross McCall, Frank John Hughes, James Madio and Kirk Acevedo. Additionally, the director of this series, Dexter Fletcher, was also part of the cast.
Armie Hammer was originally set to play Al Ruddy but was replaced by Miles Teller after he admitted to being "100% cannibal."
