Marks the first time that a film was shot on the off Orkney island Papa Westray.
Since the movie is based on the autobiography of Amy Liptrot, the bird watching cabin actually exists and it can be found on Google Maps if you go to Papa Westray island off Orkney.
Saoirse Ronan and Jack Lowden specifically set up Arcade Pictures production company (along with Dominic Norris) to produce this movie, but have since stepped down once it was made.
Based on Amy Liptrot's 2016 memoir of the same name.
When Greta Gerwig was shooting Barbie (2023), Saoirse Ronan was going to be playing one of the Weird Barbies alongside Kate McKinnon, but due to scheduling conflicts with The Outrun (2024) she was unable to be in the Barbie movie.
