This science fiction series follows the incredible journey into the future where the technology has managed to alter the reality in a very subtle manner. The Peripheral has a wonderful, intriguing and unique script that is supported by an exceptional cast. The show has mind-blowing visuals and effects. It does justice to the novel it has been adapted from and leaves the audience on the edge of their seats until the very end. The two different time settings showcased in the series are perfectly blended. The stunning Chloe Grace Moretz does a fantastic job at playing the lead character Flynne. Her chemistry with Jack Reynor who plays the character of Wilf is commendable and they both manage to uplift the story even more. The series is a beautiful blend science fiction, family drama, action, suspense and more. The series manages to keep you engaged thoroughly until the very end and is worth the watch.

The Peripheral is based on a 2014 science fiction mystery-thriller novel of the same name by William Gibson.
The primary southern town that it was shot in is Marshall, NC. It's about 30 minutes NW of Asheville. The bridge that she crosses in the opening and that's featured often also connects to an island. The river is the French Broad and the island is Blannahassett Island. A high school was built on it in 1925 and was later used as K-8. It's now an Art studio and exhibition space for local artists.
Although they never share a scene together, Chuku Modu (Carlos) and Eli Goree (Conner) both appeared in CW's The 100. Chuku starred as Dr. Gabriel from 2019-2020 & Eli stared as Wells from 2014-2017.
