TRIVIA

Trivia

In 2012, the film was originally set to star Selena Gomez, with her serving as an executive producer as well through her production company.

Filmed in Humboldt county California

In the scene where Lennie destroys her copy of Wuthering Heights she describes Cathy and Heathcliff as 'Victorian fools'. Her grandmother, Fiona, describes them as 'Victorian imbeciles'. However, the novel's 'present day' action occurs in the period from 1801-1802, during the reign of George III. Victoria reigned from 1876-1901. Thus Cathy and Heathcliff are actually 'Georgian fools'and 'Georgian imbeciles', respectively.
