TRIVIA

Trivia

Frank DeKova loved to sit in local restaurants and visit with kids during filming breaks in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He was very approachable for an actor.

Although there was one officially recorded in the area in the 1980s, the tornado in the film was considered a goofy add-on by the locals who watched the film, as at that altitude and mountainous terrain, twisters, by all accounts, are non-existent. (Tell that to the people who have been hit by one.)

Three members of the Howard family are in this movie. Ronny (now Ron), his brother Clint, and their dad, Rance.

The cast rode on a special 4th of July "float", a buckboard wagon in the local town parade to promote the film as shooting went on over the holiday.

Dan Haggerty ("Grizzly Adams") worked as the wild animal trainer on this production.
