TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

Tanya the manicurist (Debi Mazar) talks about meeting Madonna. Mazar and Madonna are long-time friends; Mazar appeared in four Madonna music videos: "True Blue" and "Papa Don't Preach" (1986), "Deeper and Deeper" (1992) and "Music" (2000).

The painting in the restaurant scene features Courtney Love and Anna Nicole Smith.

Like the 1939 version, the film has an all-female cast.

In The Women (1939), the only scene photographed in color was the fashion show sequence. In this version, the scene set in the dressing rooms of Saks utilizes black-and-white costumes and art direction.

While the project was in development, Julia Roberts and Meg Ryan were set to star. The production stalled because Roberts and Ryan ended up wanting the same role.

Popular Dialogues

"Catherine Frazier: It feels like someone kicked you in the stomach, feels like your heart stopped beating, feels like that dream, you know the one, when you are falling and you want so desperately to wake up before you hit the ground but it's all out of your control, you can't trust anything anymore, no-one is who they say they are, your life is changed forever, and the only thing to come out of the whole ugly experience is no-one will be able to break your heart like that again."

"Edie Cohen: It was so amazing, and we're so proud of you. And I am so sorry that I won't be able to stay longer to help you celebrate. But my water just broke."
