The Young Rebel Review

Susant Misra directed the Indian Oriya film Biswaprakash which is also famously known as The Young Rebel. He is an acclaimed director who has given wonderful contributions to the cinema in the past as well. the film has a multi-layered plot and an intriguing storyline. The characters are complex and have been portrayed exceptionally well by the actors. The film has received a lot of appreciation and has made its mark at international levels as well. The plot revolves around young Biswaprakash, who is in his early twenties and is a rebel who continually rebels against his family's hidden ancient oriental way of life, which is strongly ingrained in medieval socio-religious mores. He is estranged from his family and friends because he does not fit into the consumerist culture of a world where the value system is changing more quickly. He tries to find answers and overall, the film is worth watching.
