Under the direction of H. Vinoth, Thunivu is an excellent example of a movie that addresses the issue of a common man. A perfect blend of a movie with thrilling scenes, epic action, no lag, and no emotional drama. For the last few years, Ajith Kumar has given one of his performances in this movie. His dialogues, expressions, actions, and dance moves all were mind-blowing. Definitely a "bang for the buck" movie for all Ak's fans after a long time. Manju Warrier was as good as Ak. She acted fabulously and looked great in the perfect attire. John Kokken, Samuthirakani, G.M.Sundar, Mahanadi Shankar, Prem, Veera, and Yogi Babu did great justice to their characters. The first half of the movie showcases the heist, giving the audience too many confusing and suspenseful moments regarding what the actual heist is for, its motive, who is AK, and so on, but on the other hand, the second half satisfies the audience by unfolding the twists from the first half and was more entertaining than the first half. The interrogation scenes with John Kokken kept the audience intact in their seats. Coming to the songs in the movie, they were pretty average, nothing extraordinary. The movie is great action and entertainment, which also gives a social message.
