TRIVIA

Trivia

Tracey Ullman's first British comedy special since Tracey Ullman: A Class Act (1993).

Due to the show's topical format, the shows are written, filmed and transmitted close together.

Whilst promoting the special on The One Show (2006), Tracey Ullman was presented with a statement from German Chancellor Angela Merkel's office. It read: "Thank you very much for your email requesting a statement from Chancellor Merkel for the hilarious Tracey Ullman. I am very sorry, but due to the Chancellor's extremely busy schedule, she's in Brussels right now, and the G20 summit is just around the corner, she will not be able to send the requested statement."

Filmed and transmitted close together.

On 25 October 2017, two days before Tracey Ullman debuted her Jeremy Corbyn impersonation, the real Corbyn joked, "Don't worry, Tracey Ullman's coming" (referencing Prime Minister Theresa May) to sarcastic cheers from Tories at Prime Minister's Question Time. May had already been impersonated by Ullman in the show's one-off special which generated much publicity.
