TRIVIA AND POPULAR DIALOGUES

Trivia

This is the second time that Joe Keery portrays a YouTube and social media influencer. The first was Spree (2020), also released in 2020.

A retooling of Charlie Brooker's BBC series Screenwipe (2006) with Brooker not acting as the presenter, although he can be heard off-camera as the interviewer. The other regulars of the show, Diane Morgan as Philomena Cunk and Al Campbell as Barry Shitpeas do not feature, however Morgan plays a very similar character in Gemma Nerrick, with Campbell serving as co-director.

The documentary "America," seen playing on Gemma's TV, makes use of a video game's soundtrack. As Gemma describes the documentary, the loading theme from the Battlefield 2142 map "Minsk" can be heard in the background.

Popular Dialogues

"Bark Multiverse: I realized the whole world could collapse in chaos and disaster and here's me, one of the richest people on the planet, in a position to actually do something about it. As soon as she finished speaking, I hit the phone, got my people to buy a mountain in New Zealand, had it hollowed out, and here we are. In my survival bunker. Director: Don't people call you selfish? Bark Multiverse: I don't know. It's soundproof."

"Dash Bracket: Some of the doctors caught the virus early on and tried to raise the alarm. But blowing the whistle while you're on a ventilator? Ah.. That's a big ask."
