Throughout the entire series (from Season 1 to Season 7, including the Christmas Special, but not the movies), the word "fuck" is said a total of 1,284 times (averaging 46 times an episode). The word "shit" is said a total of 967 times in the series (averaging 31 an episode). From all uses of the words, 74.3% of the time, it is said from Ricky.
Bubbles rarely keeps his head straight because Mike Smith could not see well when he wears the glasses.
Donny, the loudmouth trailer park resident who is never seen is voiced by Mike Smith, who plays Bubbles.
Although the show is scripted, Robb Wells (Ricky) said many of the memorable moments on the show were ad-libbed by the cast. This is also apparent in the Trailer Park Boys podcast where they outline topics to talk about and improvise the discussion, often times breaking character by laughing.
In the episode 'Fuckin' Way She Goes' Ray explains that the trailer he purchased with Tammy had just been paid off affer a 35 year mortgage. A trailer of that size in the year 1970 cost around 4500 dollars at a high estimate. On a 35 year mortgage the payment per month would have been roughly 11 dollars.
