Lahey's voice is actually John Dunsworth. The producers took stock footage of previous TPB shows and dubbed his lines up to match the current dialogue. Numerous people auditioned for the voice of Lahey but all of the boys agreed to pay homage to Dunsworth by using his actual voice.
All the liquor and beer bottles seen in the series are Liquorman's Ol' Dirty Canadian Whiskey and Freedom 35, both of which are the Trailer Park Boys original created brands that are available for sale in Canada.
