Having understood that the script made no sense, the cast decided to strike. Unfortunately, the actors union found this dispute unacceptable and they were made to act regardless.

In the original script passengers passed out due to airline food.

Tom Berenger decided to wear his honeymoon purple shirt for the film. When the director objected, Berenger asked about the quality of the production. The director relented.
