Rajnikanth did not dub for the dubbed Hindi version.
Several scene's from Qurbani were inserted into the film. Actual footage of Qurbani was used in several scenes. For example the scene when Rajnikanth bashes the car in the parking lot. The footage of Amrish Puri's Mercedes being bashed was used " Viduthalai". The scene when Feroz Khan climbs the wall to commit the robbery. The same footage of Feroz was used in "Viduthalai". The climax shot where the bulldozer comes thru the car windshield.
The film was dubbed into Hindi much later in the 2000's.
The climax incorporated footage from the car chase scene from the movie "Gone In 60 Seconds"(1974). Rajnikanth was given a yellow car just like the one used in the Hollywood movie. Then shots from Gone in 60 Seconds were inserted in during "Viduthalai' car chase in the climax.
