"The Dragon" and "The Diceman" make a quick reference to "Ford Fairlane" when they appropriate a drug pusher's aging automobile. The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990) was a film showcasing Andrew Dice Clay.

Director Brady MacKenzie was fired by Don Wilson, and Don finished editing the film himself.

For the final fight scene, Fred Williamson refused a stunt person and did it himself.
