Trivia

Was originally planned to be a feature film but the writer/director could not get funding for it so he made this short film and submitted it to the Sundance film festival. He later got the funding and made his original film Whiplash (2014).

Johnny Simmons stars as Neiman opposite J. K. Simmons as Fletcher. J. K. stands for Jonathan Kimble, which means both leads in the film are played by a John Simmons.

The name "Fletcher" is never said in the whole short film.
