    Jenny Cole lives with her husband and son in middle America. She is pregnant and starts to have very vivid dreams about a small city that has a big church. She then starts talking to her mother about it and her mother shows her some drawings she made when she was a child. To her amazement they are identical to the drawings from her dreams that she is now having. Jenny and her mother do research and find that the dreams are about a small town in Ireland in the 1930s. STORY

Story
Jenny Cole lives with her husband and son in middle America. She is pregnant and starts to have very vivid dreams about a small city that has a big church. She then starts talking to her mother about it and her mother shows her some drawings she made when she was a child. To her amazement they are identical to the drawings from her dreams that she is now having. Jenny and her mother do research and find that the dreams are about a small town in Ireland in the 1930s. Mary Sutton's gravestone reads: "Mary Sutton, Beloved Mother, Who died 22nd of October 1932, Aged 37 years."

Filming occurred in Dublin Ireland and in the U.S. Locations shown include Enniskerry, Greystones and Newcastle, County Wicklow, and Dalkey, County Dublin Ireland; it also included Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Los Angeles, California. Yesterday's Children (2000) began shooting on May 22, 2000 and completed June 21, 2000.
